The Tentacles of the Round Second Voting Period for character scenes has officially begun!
Due to the somewhat unorthodox method of voting required, we have created a website that lists the suggestions that have passed review.
We had originally planned to only send the link to our voters, but instead, we have decided to make the page public!
Even for non-voters, do take a look at what zany and awesome ideas our voters have come up with!
In the end, only one scene will win per character! I wonder which scenes those will be?
*(NSFW WARNING) Due to the nature of these scenes, the suggestions are NSFW by default and should only be viewed by those who are 18 years or older of age.
*Of course, only backers of the Tentacles of the Round or Jet Black Heroes may castvotes
**TheScenes were reviewed and may have undergone some changes before being put on the list
If you are a voter, please read these rules very carefully:
1) All scenes are assigned a 'Scene Code', for example, A1 or T3 or D2 etc. Please email us with the scene code as well as how many of your votes you wish to put into that specific scene idea.
Example: 2 Votes for A1 & 2 Votes for T4
2) As with the first vote, your votes are SPREAD AMONGST THE 5 CHARACTERS. Therefore, you need to decide which character/scenes you want to prioritise due to your limited number of votes.
Example:
You have 8 Votes:
2 votes for A1, 2 votes for A2, 2 votes for T7, 1 vote for K1, 1 vote for N3
Which would use up all 8 of your votes.
Eitherthat or something like 8votes for A1, which would also use all your availablevotes.
As a reminder:
Heroes & Pages have 4 votes
Squires have 8 votes
Knights have 12 votes
Knight Commanders have 24
3) Extra 5 Votes?
Read this section VERY CAREFULLY. Due to what happened to the guest votes in part 1 with how there was like a 5 way tie for 2nd place, we decided to implement a countermeasure to prevent such a thing from happening for the scene vote. As a result, we have decided to give 5 free votes to every Voting tier.
BUT! There is a catch, a small caveat to how you are allowed these 5 votes.
These 5 votes are split among the 5 characters, so you can only insert 1 vote for 1 scene per character. So with this, ideally, every character will get 1 vote from every backer. (Of course, choosing not to use the free 5 votes is also allowed)
For example:
Let's say you have 24 votes as a Knight Commander.
24 for A1!
This is fine, you used up your original allotment of 24 votes on 1 scene rather than splitting it.
As for the 5 remaining votes...
1 more for A1, 1 for T3, 1 for K2, 1 for N4, 1 for D7
Something like this, where every character gets 1 of the 5 extra votes.
Here is an example of what is NOT ALLOWED:
24 for A1, 4 for A5, 1 for T3 = NO, this is NOT ALLOWED.
Please split your 5 extra votes.
4) By the way, don't forget your losers' bracket guest votes as well!
Just as a reminder, every round table backer regardless of rank will only get 3 votes for the loser's bracket, and can only put up to 1 vote for 1 character!

Just one last scene introduction to do for our last Jet-Black Hero chosen character, so that's exactly what we are going to present to you today!

Even his former allies, the Dark Lords, should they be so fortunate, remain as his loyal subordinates...Or as his slaves, if they weren't so lucky.
For Angels, they were treated far, far worse. The pure Angel Luselo, once a symbol of hope and a saviour of Humanity on the surface world...Having been subjected to the training of Demon, has thus fallen from grace.
In a time without war, she lives out her days as a plaything, continually passed around Leon's Demon subordinates to be used and abused.
Alas, poor Luseli.
This poor, pitiful Angel just can't catch a break. It's almost sad if it weren't so...Exciting for some of us, perhaps.
But such is the fate of the loser in a fantasy war. It is our solemn duty as tentacles to watch until the very end.
Well, considering that this is the last unintroduced Jet-Black Hero scene, I suppose that about wraps up this somewhat short update!

After gathering all the votes from our resident Round Table Tentacles (voters), we will now announce the results of the first vote, which was for the characters who would get a new scene as well as the guest units who will make an appearance in VBHI!
Main Characters
First Place:
ANORA ARKNOAH (41.26% of the Main Character votes)
"You have done well, everyone. You have my gratitude...I look forward to seeing what kind of scene you have in mind for me."
That is correct, Anora will be getting her second scene thanks to the support from the Round Table voters giving her FIRST PLACE in the polls!
Truly, men of discerning taste litter the ranks of the Tentacles of the Round!
SecondPlace:
TSUBAKI (25.17% of the Main Character Votes)
"Oh? What good news! Welp, I guess I'll do my best to wow you guys, and show my gratitude to everyone for choosing me!"
The one Dark Lord (not counting Karvia) who didn't get a Jet Black Hero scene will now get one thanks to the efforts of the Round Table Voters!
Just keep that 'Celebratory Sake' away from her, yeah?
As promised in the Stretch Goals,the two characters above will be getting a new scene, new outfit, new standing portrait and a new commander unit form!
Unfortunately there were only two slots for Main Characters, and although 3rd and belowaren't getting a scene, they certainly put up a good fight in terms of votes, just goes to show that they are also loved by our fans!
Third Place:
Sylvia & Liese (9.79% of the Main Character Votes each)
Despite already getting 2 scenes each from Jet Black Hero Backers, they did quite well in the vote!
Fifth Place:
Judecca (5.59% of the Main Character Votes)
Ah, Judecca also did quite well in the polls, to be sure!
Side Characters
First Place:
KAYA (27.91% of the Side Character Votes)
"E-eh? You want to see me in a scene? O-oh no, W-what should I do...?"
Yep! Kaya won first place in the side character poll!
"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", they say, how about "Hell hath no fury like a Kaya without a scene (in Vanilla VBH)!"
The balance has been restored, the cries and lamentation of "KAYA DESERVED A SCENE!" hath been put to rest. Truly, what a great day.
SecondPlace:
Dorothy& Nazuna (26.36% of the Side Character Votes Each)
D: "Hmm, I guess winning a scene isn't such a bad feeling." N:"Even though I am but a humble Shinobi...It truly is an honour to be chosen."
Amazingly, Nazuna and Dorothy tied for second place!
However, there is only one more slot for a scene, so what happens...? Will we have to see off one of these poor girls, taking away their chance in the spotlight?
Well...No, actually.
Both Nazuna and Dorothy will be getting a new scene!
As promised in the Stretch Goals, thetwo (well, 3. More details below!) characters above will be getting a new scene! And more excitingly, for KAYA specifically, she will finally be getting a proper scene all to herself! (She did not have one in the original VBH, after all)
Just like with the main characters, unfortunately there were only 2 (3, more details below) slots for new scenes.
4th and below won't get a scene, but they still are loved very much by those who voted for them and put up a good fight!
Fourth Place:
Meiko (10.08% of the Side Character Votes Each)
Ah, the Undead Priestess.
She seemed rather popular among many newcomers to the series, not to mention, she's a ZOMBIE GIRL!
The fact she managed to take a full 10% of the side character votes is testament to her popularity.
Fifth Place:
Amy (4.65% of the Side Character Votes)
Ah, the poor little bwaka sister of the slime duo.
She did decently well in the polls, but alas, she still lost to her overachieving sister. Not to worry, Amy, you still did really well!
Guest Units
Alongside the 4...Well, 5 characters above, we will be getting 4 guest units from other VB games as promised in the stretch goals! (Only for use in Battle)
As for who we will be seeing in VBHI, well...

The Eccentric Blood Moon Researcher Hain (VBB's Protagonist) and his faithful Maid Companion, Sheila claim first place in the vote, and will thus make an appearance from VenusBlood BRAVE as guest units to bolster the forces of the Black Arme Vapula!
Hain's tactical mind & brilliant strategies, supported and executed by his faithful and loyal maid Sheila, are sure to lead your forces to victory!
Hain comes in two forms (Base & Awakened), while Sheila comes as herself (1 form).
Third Place:
From VenusBlood Lagoon:

From VBL, we have the titular main heroine, Tia Elysis!
She comes in 2 forms (Awakened & Corrupted).
FromVenusBlood BRAVE:
Leona& Loli Yilan
From VBB, we have the Hero of draconic descent Leona and the self-proclaimed Loli Goddess...Loli Yilan. They both have 1 form each.
From VenusBlood Ragnarok:

From VBR, we have the idol goddess Ullr, and she comes with all 3 forms (Pure, Corrupted, Broken).
From VenusBlood Abyss:

From VBA, we have the Ancient Demon Princess Lucina, and she comes with both forms (Base, Awakened)!
That is correct, there is a 5-WAY-TIE for third place! (All 5 received 8.82% of the Guest Votes Each)

I'm sure you're all wondering about the bombshells dropped on your earlier, such as a third side-character scene or the insane amount of guests units...
See, remember when we mentioned in an earlier update about breaking 350% funding? Well, we thank you all once again for that, but how is that relevant, you might ask.
Well...Okay, now that the first vote has ended, and we the guest units have been decided...You might feel that hey, too bad about the other guest units who got votes but couldn't get in, right?
Well...What if we said, there was still a chance for them?
LET US NOT WASTE ANY MORE TIME POKING AND TEASING YOU GUYS, HERE YOU GO!
THE MYTHICAL STRETCH GOAL #7!?
Yes, you may have joked about it, you may have went "Haha 350% should have had another stretch goal"...Well, it's become a reality! And it is staring you in the face!
As a very big thank you for 350% funding, we have decided after the fact to add one last stretch goal!
Now then, Stretch Goal #7, "The Bond of Every Tentacles' Souls". What does it entail?
1) New Side Character Scene!
And here is your justification for us allowing a 3rd side character to also get a scene after a tie happened for second place!
With this stretch goal, the slots for a side character scene went from 2 to 3, thus opening one slot for all 3 of our lucky winners to get a new scene!
2) MORE GUEST UNIT SLOTS!
Did you know that it is the VenusBlood Series' 13th Anniversary this year?
To coincide that with this special new Stretch Goal added as thanks for all of your support, we are changing the total Guest Unit slots from 4 to 14! (With 7 units confirmed, that means there are now 7 slots left open!)
14? But you just said 13...Yeah, yeah, we know. But you see, VBHI is slated to release next year, yes? That would make it the 14th Anniversary...Next year, when this game is set to release.
For context, the first VenusBlood game released in 2007, and VBHI is slated for a 2021 release.
Wait, so how would this work? Do we go by descending order of their vote count? Well...No, that'd be way too easy and predictable.
And so, we will be introducing a 'Losers' Bracket' vote for the guest units!*
*As withthe other rounds, only Round Table & Jet Black Hero Backers will be able to participate in this vote
PLEASE READ THE RULES VERY CAREFULLY,Voters
Rules:
1) Votes from BEFORE (the original guest unit votes) will be CARRIED OVER. This will of course mean certain guests who lost round 1 already have a start line advantage. Pole position, so to speak.
2) Of course, the 2 who won first place as well as the 5 who tied for third are getting in, so they will not be included in this vote.
3) Only units that already had votes to their name from the original first guest unit vote are eligible (no adding on new guest units)
4) *VERY IMPORTANT* EVERY ELIGIBLE VOTER WILL ONLY HAVE 3 VOTES, REGARDLESS OF PLEDGE RANK. You can only put ONE VOTE PER CHARACTER, and stacking votes onto a single character is not allowed.
Example:
a) 1 Vote for Revia, 1 Vote for Elemia, 1 Vote for Typhon = OK
b) 3 Votes for Revia = NO, NOT ALLOWED
c) 2 Votes for Revia, 1 Vote for Typhon = NO, NOT ALLOWED. ONLY 1 PER UNIT

As for when this 'loser's bracket' voting period is?
Well, it will happen at the same time as the Scene Suggestions Vote (the December 4th ~ December 10th one), so please send in your guest votes at the same time as your scene vote!

The Guest Units chosen in the 'Loser's Bracket' Poll might not be in the game on release, and could possibly be released at a later date via a free update/patch.
