The Fallen Angel of Lament: Luseli

A summary of her scene:
Having defeated the Varganian Empire, Leonhardt proceeded to subjugate the remaining Demons on Helvetia, bringing about the dawn of a new Empire under his rule.
Even his former allies, the Dark Lords, should they be so fortunate, remain as his loyal subordinates...Or as his slaves, if they weren't so lucky.
For Angels, they were treated far, far worse. The pure Angel Luseli, once a symbol of hope and a saviour of Humanity on the surface world...Having been subjected to corruption froma Demon, has thus fallen from grace.
In a time without war, she lives out her days as a plaything, continually passed around Leon's Demon subordinates to be used and abused.
Poor, poor Luseli.
Being an angel in Helvetia is just suffering.
I suppose you could say that she's finally accepted the way the world is at that point and has resigned herself to being part of it...?
This version of Luseli plays a minor role in the new Iris portion of VBHI, so do look forward to it!
The Mini Mad-Scientist : Eleanore

"Hmph, just because there has been a change in my stature, doesn't mean there's been a change in my intellect!"
A summary of her scene:
One day, during her research...Eleanore discovered a potent medicine that reverses the aging process. As per usual, any new breakthrough means immediate experimentation, and she began testing the solution on lab animals. While she was observing one of these animals, her assistant Tetra came into the lab with some freshly brewed coffee...Only to trip and fall, causing the cage holding the animal to break open. Once it was free, it began its rampage around her Elea's lab. During the subsequent fallout, Elea was bitten by the animal, and as a result, she regressed in age and shrunk in height.
Despite this, Elea remained unfazed, and was rather fascinated by what was happening to her body. As she was about to begin further research into the phenomenon, she was greeted by Leonhardt, who just so happened to pick that day to come over and inspect her lab...
To think that we would be graced with a 2nd lolification of an existing character, not to mention one better known for those melonlike funbags...
Ah well.
That overly big lab coat kind of fits her, don't you think?

Race-Limited Mode
Race limited...mode? What could that possibly mean?
Well, as stated in the title of this update, there will be a new gameplay mode added to VBHI! And, well, it's called Race-Limited mode!
Clicking on race limited mode on the start game menu opens up the race icons on the right.
The gist of this mode is that you select a single race from the 21 available races in VBHI, and in that specific playthrough, you can only deploy units that belong to that race!
So if you wanted to make it the biggest sausage fest ever, why not go with males only?
Or if you wanted to do a real spooky run, doing a wraith only run? Maybe an undead only run?
Or perhaps for the more dedicated tentacle...A bug/insect only run?
Either way, if you ever wanted to attempt a challenge run, then this mode should provide you with a sufficient challenge on a higher difficulty (supposing you pick a more obscure race), and hey, you might even find some units are more useful than you initially thought during a normal run!
The mode is completely optional and does not offer any tangible in-game reward, so don't feel pressured to play it if you don't want to!

Another day, another update for more new standing portraits for heroines with new scenes!
Subservient Doll : Tsubaki

A summary of her scene:
Forsaken by her former master, Leonhardt...Tsubaki was given to a perverted man who took her home before proceeding to indoctrinate her and have her become subservient to her new master.
Nowadays, she spends her time attending to her new master, dressed in his favourite outfit, the china dress, with her hair done just the way he likes, that being an adorable twin-tailed look.
Ah...Tsubaki, oh Tsubaki...What has happened to you? Not only are you missing your horn, but that dress of yours is...Well, quite nice, actually.
Certainly a very different look and 'feel' to Tsubaki's other 2 forms, like she became more...demure and subservient, almost.
We hope that you will enjoy the scene that also details the circumstances of how she came to look like this in the full release!
The Innocent Onmyouji: Ayame

"Hmm? Don't be underestimating me just because of my size!"
A summary of her scene:
Ayame, the prime minister of Rakshasa, received reports of a weird phenomenon.
Something that has been taking the lives of the citizens, easily defeating the guardsmen and continues to grow stronger and stronger as the days go by, slowly expanding its reach.
Taking this matter seriously, the Dark Lord Tsubaki sent in an elite squad, but all they found was an item that is seemingly possessed by an evil spirit.
Through some hardship, the top Onmyouji under her employ, Ayame, succeeded in sealing the spirit away, but at the cost of a lot of her spiritual energy. As a result, her body shrunk down in size.
She realises that she cannot afford to stay in this form for extended periods of time, and so she has decided to take steps towards remedying the situation.
Part of that remedy involves requesting Leonhardt's assistance... What exactly could be this 'method' Ayame mentions?
Hmm, yes, lolification.
Truly something we could say epitomises the desires of many of our fans regarding some of the characters.
And of course we can't forget the classic method of energy transferring known as Mana Trans-...I mean, ahem, spiritual energy transfer, yes?

Due to complications with the COVID pandemic, and at the recommendation of our current editor, we welcome 3 extra editors to the team!
Some possibly familiar names, and they have definitely done some great work!
In fact, thanks to their efforts, the editing for VBHI has now reached 100%!

That is correct, the translation for everything in VBHI is now complete! Hooray!
Well we say 'now', but really it's been done and we just haven't found a good time to announce it.
As such, we are currently still on track for the November release, and we hope you are as excited as we are!

Justafter Leonhardt had conquered most of Helvetia, Iris suddenly appeared.Aperfect, true goddess who seeks to destroy all who have within them the potential to become a Demon God.
Even those with the slightest potential,if left to fester, will lead Helvetia to inevitable ruin.
Within Leonhardt, she senses enormous potential...
Potential that must be snuffed out immediately.
Once again, this character's name should be a familiar one to veteran players of VBH.
Fated to be one of Leonhardt's biggest obstacles on his path to fulfill his ambition, she is a foe not to be underestimated, but is also one that must be overcome.
Whether you are a newcomer or a VBH veteran, we definitely hope you look forward to her appearance in the full game!
Seer of the Stars: Alioth
“This world, the you that is in front of me...Is it but a dream I am having? Or am I perhaps simply a resident of said dream...? "
A free and unrestrained travelling fortune teller who leads a band of historical heroes.
Appearing before Leonhardt who was leading the Vanguard of the Empire’s forces, she offers to aid him in his efforts.
She is capable of using extremely powerful and potent magic without the aid of any Tactica, and she often questions Leonhardt on various things. To what end, you may ask? Perhaps nobody but her may ever know.
Another familiar, but possibly somewhat more obscure name from the original VBH.
An unfamiliar ally with an eccentric entourage claiming to want to help.
Although suspicious, she and her entourage prove to be very capable indeed, and Leonhardt could definitely use the help on the road to fulfill his ambition.
She has some vested interest in Leon's other half, Anora...But to what end?

The Apostles of the Goddess Iris
Angel of Benevolence: Babel
One of Iris' apostles, Babel is known as the Angel of Benevolence, the Seraph who governs eternal beauty.
She adores Iris and has accompanied her into the new Helvetia, seeking to aid her in spreading her light across every world they pass.
She is also a hard worker, mostly when it comes to executing Iris' will.
Angel of Sagacity: Nachshu
One of Iris' apostles, Nachshu is known as the Angel of Sagacity, the Seraph who protects the fruit of knowledge.
She worships and is loyal to the Goddess Iris and is dedicated to protecting her and her light, and is generally always found accompanying her everywhere.
As such, she has accompanied Iris into the new Helvetia to assist her in her mission.
She certainly bears a striking resemblance to a certain reclusive hermit scientist fellow, wouldn't you agree?

VenusBlood HOLLOW International's Release Datehas been decided!
When is it, you might ask?
Well...
VBHI is now set to release on NOVEMBER 26th 2021!
What's that? It's not in December, but a month early?
Yes, and that just shows how much we love all of you fans!
And realistically, with how the Corona Virus situation is right now, it's probably safer to move the release forward about a month in order to ensure that the physical rewards and such actually reach your doorstep by the end of November or at worst, within the month of December 2021.
We will work as hard as we can to make this release date, so we hope you look forward to it! Just another 3 months or so to go!
That being said, we also have an important...
BACKERKIT RELATED NOTICE
We will be sending out final confirmation emails for you to confirm that your current address is correct for shipment of any physical goods you have ordered.
The period of time allowed for you to change your address is 48 hours after this update is posted before your order is automatically locked down, address included.
Therefore, please confirm that your current address is correct!

VenusBlood FDs Discussion
For those who don't know, FD basically means Fandisc.
Still doesn't make sense? Erm, basically like extra mini scenarios...an extra content disc? Except it's standalone and functions as kind of like mini after stories?
Right. Well anyway, we have a few of those, and they are unfortunately only available in Japanese.
We've been receiving some...Well, quite a few requests to get those localised too, and we just want to say that we definitely do hear you.
We're thinking about it, and hey, who knows, maybe one day you'll see a mini crowdfunding campaign for the VB Fandiscs.
If such a thing happens, rest assured it will not impact the schedule of current projects in the running, and hey, there will likely be KS exclusive goodies too!
